This job ad is for you if you are a Linux devotee, biting to complete assignments. You have valid certificates in the field of Linux/UNIX technologies or ongoing certification. You are an analytical and excellent troubleshooter. You are initiative and able to operate on your own, but also to cooperate with colleagues and clients. You are enthusiastic about your work and willing to learn and improve your skills. You will be in charge of:
System infrastructure: you will be in charge of planning and designing system infrastructure and services. You will be part of the team responsible for supporting and maintaining clients’ IT systems and services on-premise and in the cloud. You will work with ease if you already understand automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.System development: You will be developing complex systems and working on cutting-edge technological innovation in the domain of cloud & microservice container platforms. As part of a team, you will be designing new systems and services for clients and internally for QSS. Your experience with microservices and container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes) will come to the fore - you will be the shining star of the team!Performance: as you are familiar with monitoring tools, the task of monitoring system conditions and system performance would be an easy thing, and you will be doing this for a client and internally for QSSTraining and personal growth: we know the importance of knowledge and skills development. So, you will be able to invest in your professional growth and development through training, education, and certification, through your plan of the development planOther: you already know that at the end of every job description comes “other related duties as assigned” - but we positively mean this. ● Bachelor`s or Master's degree in Computer Science● At least 2 years of experience as a System Engineer● Knowing one of the scripting languages (such as Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript)● Experience working with Linux and RedHat technologies (OpenShift & Ansible)● Excellent verbal and communications skills in English
